The problems facing individuals in Maine and across the United States are many, and despite the suggestions of some, there is no one single "magic" bullet idea that will restore freeom and proper government.
To start with, each must take responsibility for his own education and understanding of the world in which he lives - that is the reality of the world, not the one he believes to exist or the one he has been taught to see. Freedom is a journey rather than a destination, and it must start in the minds of men who decide they seek liberty more than anything else. Beyond the awareness stage, freedom requires more than idle talk or occasional civic participation. Freedom requires constant vigilance and perpetual, active defense. This journey requires struggle, sacrifice, determination, perserverance, and steadfast commitments of the mind, the body and the soul. In order to be free, a man must first know the value of freedom, he must then begin to think like a free man, and finally he must act like a free man.
The following are ideas to consider. I accept no responsibility should you choose to act on any one or more of them. This list is submitted merely as a free expression of what an individual hypothetically could do in order to advance the cause of his own freedom and protect himself from those who would prefer him to be in bondage.
